Founded in the autumn of 2023, Arosteri Ensemble embraces versatility as its hallmark. The ensemble uses the formation of a piano quintet as a basis from which different subsets can be created to enhance the variety of concert programming. This flexible instrumentation enables seamless exploration across diverse musical landscapes. Their inaugural performance in January 2024 featured Florence Price’s evocative Quintet in A minor alongside Johannes Brahms’ timeless Quintet in F minor to a sold out hall in Manhattan, NYC. Current projects include an American music program exploring Peter Schickele’s piano quintet, Amy Beach’s Piano Trio and Florence Prices’ Piano Quintet.
