About Artists:
Duke B is a New York City-based film composer and pianist. Born and raised in Macedonia, Duke graduated from Berklee College of Music and subsequently moved to NYC in 2001. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside oscar-winning film directors (e.g. Jonathan Demme and Danis Tanovic), has collaborated with a variety of artists –from TelepopMusik to Cyndi Lauper– and had his music featured in various music compilations (e.g. “Buddha Bar” and “Marrakech Express”). Duke has performed at an impressive array of worldwide venues–including Carnegie Hall, The Box, Miami’s Art Basel, LA’s Avalon Theater, and Ohrid’s Summer Fest.
Kristo is a long time collaborator on Duke’s film and album work. His very unique voice is a mix of modern and traditional Balkan.
