In that direction is a study of 5 young artists who work with forms of play and functionality, both in their process and in the final outcome. The notion of play allows artists to produce without predetermined certainty. This leads to works that are not defined by one category or quality. Functionality on the other hand is defined by how well an
object can fulfill a practical purpose.

Winter Salon 2015 is our annual winter group show featuring artists that have exhibited at Gallery MC in various shows and venues. This year we have artists from different parts of the world, represented by Gallery MC, Galeria Karen Huber from Mexico City, and young and upcoming artists from Parsons.
