Duke Bojadziev feat. Satoshi Takeishi
Macedonian born, New York resident music composer, producer and pianist Duke Bojadziev (a.k.a. Duke B) will present his work for piano and percussions, performing with the world renowned percussionist Satoshi Takeishi. Since his arrival to New York City in 2001, Duke has been scoring for American and European film, international TV, theater and multimedia. He has released 7 solo albums and his music is featured on worldwide compilations like Buddha Bar, Marrakech Express and Chill out in Paris. Duke has performed in venues such as The Carnegie Hall, The Highline Ballroom, Cipriani Ballroom, The Avalon Theater in LA, Art Basel in Miami.
Satoshi Takeishi has appeared on over 75 recordings including those by Latin giants Nestor Torres, Ray Barretto, Hector Martignon and Eliane Elias (in the film, “Calle 54”). He has also performed with Laszlo Gardony, Badal Roy, Erik Friedlander, Cantor, Sasha Argov, Colombian saxophonist Antonio Arnedo, Paul Winter, Antony Braxton, Theo Bleckmann/Ben Monder, Joel Harrison and Rob Brown.
