Macedonian born, New York resident music composer, producer and pianist Duke Bojadziev (a.k.a. Duke B) along with his crew of established traditional and classical musicians, will take us on a musical journey through his eclectic fusion of classical romanticism meeting the traditional roots of Balkan melodies and rhythm. In this occasion Duke will perform with the world-renowned percussionist Satoshi Takeishi, the Juliard virtuoso on clarinet Vasko Dukovski and the very unique voice of Krste Rodzevski.
Since his arrival to New York City in 2001, Duke has been scoring for American and European film, international TV, theater and multimedia. He has released 7 solo albums and his music is featured on worldwide compilations like Buddha Bar, Marrakech Express and Chill out in Paris. As a musical director and pianist of the infamous New York – based musical theater/cabaret “The Citizens Band”, Duke performed in venues such as The Highline Ballroom, Cipriani Ballroom, The Avalon Theater in LA and opening for Art Basel in Miami. This experience inspired him to start his own performance series for piano and ensemble, starting with a concert at The Carnegie Hall in april 2011.
