“ DEATH “

 

Durational performance

 

The durational performance “Death” is exploring the state of mind and body,

challenging limits of the inner condition in opposition to the outside world.

It is dealing with the body as a great instrument of nature that can create life but thus also being the carrier of experiences such as loss and death.

 

In minimal interaction two bodies react with each other, feel vibrations and sounds, exchange and transmit energy levels. One heart responds to the other. Trough the durational state they are creating a synchronized, balanced rhythm and the same frequency.

 

 

One person is listening to the other person’s heartbeat and counting it for three  days – five hours each day.

Every day they exchange their roles and the counting starts from the beginning.
