“Skopje – 4 Seasons” by Artist in Residence Darko Bazerko
Exhibition by Darko Bazerko : “Skopje – 4 Seasons”
GALLERY MC 549 West 52nd Street 8th Floor, New York, NY 10019
Saturday, November 17th, 2018, 6-8pm
The exhibition will include 15 photographs 50 x 70 cm (19.7 x 27.6 inches)
The photographs were created in a 3-year time interval in the urban areas across the city of Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The photographs were shot at the same locations in a different seasonal perspective. Actually, four ambient changes were sublimated over the four seasons.
Inspired by natural trauma, the earth wake which on July 26th 1963 severely shaken the foundations of his city – Skopje, (which he did not experience), the author tries to emphasize the strength that flows through the and capture his eternity.
Each photograph contains four sequences, documented or simply torn away from the changes in the nature of the object in which the object entwined. The exhibition itself raises the question about the reflection of the photographs on the perception of the object by the side of the spectator.
In this way, the author tries to experience and remember the sequences from the temporal space of the present and in the name of all of us to immortalize the memory of the nostalgic times, which as a gift should be carried in the future.
Author will also exhibit 4 painting with the traditional Macedonian national embroidery as well as Live 3D portrait modeling.
